Hillcrest Paintball LLC has five different fields
available for play.
All fields are combined
for play during Big Game,
excluding the 10-Man Field.
1
0-Man Speedball Field
This is a large, non-regulation
size speedball field (approx. 180' x 300') The field features tire
bunkers, wooden barricades, metal fuel tanks, and wire spools. The
field is very well balanced, and the contour of the land allows for
some stealthy tactics in an otherwise "in-your-face" speedball
environment.
3-Man Speedball Field
The 3-Man speedball field is a mirror-image field constructed from
pallets, wire spools, and 55-gallon drums. At 60' wide by 180' long
there is no "long-balling" on this field. The field setup invites
fast and furious action, and does not leave any room for error.
Teamwork is a must to be successful on this field.
Trench Course
Tire bunkers, earthworks,
and 600 feet of trenches await you on this popular field. The game
of choice on this field is "Elimination", but the adjacent Wooded
Field allows "Defend the Fort" and "Search and Destroy" games as well.
Prepare to get down-and-dirty!
Castle Course
One of the largest castle courses in the nation. The castle is
constructed on a 72' x 72' base with a 20 foot concrete tower on
each corner. The towers are 12 feet in diameter and have 2 levels
each. Each wall is 14 feet tall and provides cover for the catwalk
that runs around the interior perimeter of the castle. To put that
into perspective - there were 100+ defenders fighting comfortably
(minus the incoming fire) during the 2000 Big Game. The Castle is
surrounded by a 20+ hut village.
Wooded Fields
Twenty acres of dense hardwoods
with mowed trails and earthworks make this field popular among the
"old school" paintball crowd. This field's close proximity to the
Trench Course and Castle Course allows for many different terrain
combinations.
