Welcome to the sport of paintball.
The basic two-team game is capture the flag.
The objective is to capture a flag from the opposing team and return
with it to your own flag station. The game involves no physical
contact whatsoever. Instead, each player is armed with a special air
rifle (marker) designed to fire harmless paint pellets (paintballs),
which mark their target on impact. In this way players “eliminate”
opposing team members.
The game not only gives players a chance to
test their individual skills of stealth and tactics, it also
stresses teamwork, planning and good-humored competition. An
ever-increasing number of companies, large and small, are
discovering and maximizing the potential of paintball, both for its
unique entertainment value and for its application as a tool for
team development. Anyone that enjoys the outdoors will love this
game that tests mental endurance, instinctive reactions, and
teamwork.
